Umbría

Umbria is an installation in the lower level of the gallery. An electric bulb is the only light in the room, hanging next to a column in the centre of the space. The light casts the shadow of the column on a large area of the room. The whole space occupied by this shadow is limited and crossed by wooden beams that seem to structure the dark space.
